Founded in 1979, BKA is proud to represent the finest manufacturers of Professional Audio/Visual Presentation, Industrial Security, and Custom Installation Products. Through expert teamwork, we have developed unique strategies to bring products to market and to increase market share. Our sales team works together to maximize each individual sales opportunity. We believe it is much more effective to match the customer with the account that best suits their needs rather than have our salespeople working against each other. We have achieved success for the past 30 years in our highly competitive market by applying this sales strategy.
At BKA we pride ourselves on our strong marketing abilities and specialization. We feel we have the ideal combination of enthusiasm, dynamic marketing skills, and aggressive merchandising to maximize sales for our vendors. We are proud of being able to position a product line and establish a viable business plan in accordance with the factory's guidelines.
We maintain a full time office staff, which is always available to support our accounts by providing product availability, pricing, literature, and order follow up including shipping information. With more commodity products available today, a support team that gives great service and support separates our manufacturers, and us from the competition. We also pride ourselves in the ability to respond extremely quickly to changes in the market place by sending our accounts email "blasts" with pricing updates, and new product information as soon as we get them. In today's competitive climate, we feel it is critical to get new information out to the field as soon as possible.
Sales leads are also an important part of our business. We realize how costly it is for our manufacturers to generate these leads, and we take them very seriously. Every lead is contacted by our staff and qualified. In the case of end user leads, we work very closely with our account base to match them with the account that best suits their needs.

Our Territory
Our coverage territory includes New York, New Jersey, and Eastern Pennsylvania. We are conveniently located in Valley Stream, Long Island, New York.
Our Staff
Fred Phillips, President, brings over 35 years of experience in the electronics industry. Fred began his career as an electronics technician, repairing and maintaining various types of consumer electronics equipment. Eventually, he was promoted to general manager of one of the largest electronic repair centers in the North East and was responsible for all aspects of running the business. As the repair industry began to change in the early 80's, Fred took his extensive technical background and moved into sales. His experience allows him entrance into the strongest national accounts, and allows BKA to offer a high level of technical support. email
James Vitetta, Executive Vice President, brings a long history of achievement in the electronics industry. Jim started in retail sales and worked his way up to being a principal in a sales rep firm whose territory included the highly competitive Metro New York, New Jersey Markets. Jim's strength is his relationships with his accounts, territory knowledge, and his strong marketing background. email
Eric Redlefsen, Sales, is the newest addition to BKA. Eric's focus has been on increasing product awareness while servicing our ever increasing dealer/distributor network. Eric's extensive broadcast and communications background combined with over fifteen years of successful sales experience have served him well in building relationships with his clients. email
Linda Phillips, our Office Manager, has a broad knowledge of our manufacturers product lines, policies, and procedures. This knowledge gives her the ability to resolve problems quickly, and more importantly it helps avoid problems before they occur. email
